Our Faculty of Humanities researchers work across the range of digital research, from quantitative and qualitative data analysis to archaeology, from text mining to cultural analysis of the digital.

Researchers working across the Faculty using the Text Encoding Initiative XML encoding scheme

Representing data visually in graphs, plots, charts and maps.

Text mining

Discovering and extracting knowledge from the patterns and trends found in large sets of text documents. 

Heritage digitisation and imaging

Transforming physical heritage materials into digital versions for online storage, presentation, and analysis.

Geoinformatics

The development and use of information science to collect, process and analyse geo-data.
